S3E11 - What’s Your Name?

S3E10 - Target Setting Part 2

Jim asks us to rise to the challenge of doing impactful work and come to this episode not having skimped out on our homework. You should have 16 fact maps completed: 4 for body, 4 for being, 4 for balance, and 4 for business. If you don’t know what those are, go back and listen to Part 1 in Episode 9.

 

In Part 1, we talked about the first phase: to stop lying to ourselves and start telling the truth. Did you find relief in waking up to your reality?

 

In Part 2, we’re going to spend some time thinking about what exactly we want out of life, otherwise, we’ll be stuck on the hamster wheel… working hard but not accomplishing much of anything.

S3E9 - Target Setting Part 1

We’ve all heard the phrases “An intentional life is a rich life” and “When you fail to plan, you are indeed planning to fail.” While these may not be the most hashtaggable truths you’ve ever read, it’s important to understand the substance behind them. 

In this episode of Powercast, originally recorded in 2020, Jim breaks down the meaning of these taglines and introduces us to a framework that we can use in our own lives. The framework requires us to be honest with ourselves about the direction our lives are headed and then provides us with the tools required to set goals and meet them, ultimately leading us to the success we desire. 

The truth is, there is no one secret to hitting your targets. Success comes down to the intention in your daily decisions and the discipline of internal truth and self-awareness.
